Pecas was found wandering the streets of La Paz in heartbreaking condition. She was extremely thin, covered in mange, and still had a leash tied around her neck — a painful reminder that she had once belonged to someone who left her behind.
Despite everything she had endured, Pecas remained gentle, calm, and trusting. She never lost her sweetness.
After being rescued, she received the care she desperately needed: proper food, medical treatment, and a safe place to heal. Slowly, her body recovered, and her quiet, loving personality began to shine.
In foster care, Pecas showed her true nature. She is peaceful, affectionate, and happiest simply being close to her people. She doesn't ask for much — just love, safety, and a place to belong.
Today, Pecas is living a beautiful life in downtown Vancouver. She enjoys peaceful walks along English Bay and is deeply loved by her forever family. Her story is a reminder that even the most neglected dogs can heal and find happiness again.
